The Rebrand?

Hey Creators! Yes, I have also fallen victim to the rebrand. I can explain. I love a rebrand. Not just the aesthetic ones (I actually hate the word aesthetic now), but the ones where you really lean into your calling, your passions, and your new version of yourself. I’ve been trying to find new ways to make my career more fulfilling, intentional, and if I can be real, lucrative. I’m trying to build these worlds yall so in order to do that, I have had to redo my business plan to align with my life plan. Thus, Createher Own came alive. I must admit, trusted ones in my life pushed me to do this rebrand and I’m glad that I did because it is much more aligned with who I am and what I want my personal and business missions to be.

Createher began as a YouTube and social media brand, Createher Best Life: a play on the words of create your best life. I truly believe that art is life changing and that you can use it to get out of a funk, heal your mental health, gain connections, and make money if you so choose. I wanted to find likeminded people who loved art and anything creative as much, if not more, as I do. Outside of that, I wanted to still build a production company that felt right. I can’t really explain it, but Doing Nicely Productions was great for the season that I was in and it served me and my clients well, however, in this new season, I’m focusing on storytelling and community.

CreateHer Own Productions is a culmination of all of the mediums that I consume and enjoy creating. It will be the home of Black and woman led stories in film, tv, and audio. It will also be a hub for connection with events that bring lovers of festivities and art together. You’ll also still get Createher Best Life from me, personally, as well as continuing with the blog, The Createher Files! I just saw you hit subscribe on both and for that, thank yaaa!! My goal is to provide you creators with inspiration, entertainment, conversation, and motivation to build a creative life alongside me. It’s no fun doing life alone. So whether you’ve been here from the beginning or new to the fam as an observer or a builder, welcome home. I hope you stay a while and bring some friends. There’s room for everybody here.

Let’s create our best lives. -🔑
